Each DIAMOND CROWN Exquisite Humidor
is born of a heritage that spans well over a century
of woodworking artistry. The prestigious firm of Reed
& Barton, singularly renowned as the foremost manufacturer
of hand-crafted hardwood chests.
DIAMOND
CROWN Humidors are made from American hardwoods, specifically
grown in the Appalachian Mountain region: trees grown
at this higher elevation grow very slowly, lending more
stability to the wood and yielding a superior grain.
The lumber is Kiln Dried to 6% moisture content before
production, which is the average atmospheric moisture
content in the United States - an important step that
prevents warping or cracking of the wood.
Reed & Barton devotes special attention to every detail
involved in the more than 65 separate hand operations
required in the creation of each DIAMOND CROWN Exquisite
Humidor. The DIAMOND CROWN Series, is constructed with
joints that are mitered and precisely notched to solidly
lock the corners together so that they will not move
or come apart. The exclusive four-step Mahogany and
Cherry Hand Rubbed Finishing Process enhances the grain
and texture of the wood, making each humidor truly a
"one of a kind" masterpiece
